"That's okay," he says with a small shrug. "I mean, I don't want you to be unhappy but screwed up doesn't freak me out. I've had my dad die twice, my mom once and now I lost my other mom. And now I'm a mutant spider person on top of that."

He picks the brush back up and finishes a stripe on the bottom before he stands, kicking his shoes off so he doesnt get the ceiling dirty when he jumps.
