"Yeah?" he says, a little breathless with relief that she looks happy instead of grossed out or something.

He gestures for her to come close, holding out a hand.

"Before this I was kind of a spazz. I mean I still am but like, I had glasses and I tripped over myself a lot. It was nice to be able to do something cool."
